Valery Andreev
Caretaker Institute years: 1942-1956 1904 Born in Tula Province, raised in a Seraphim orphanage. 1916 Treated for typhus in Vanykinskoy hospital. During recovery he worked in the hospital as a janitor and helped the assistant in the infirmary for wounded fighters. 1925 Trains as a painter-plasterer. 1927 Travels to Kharkov in search of relatives. Enters Kharkov State Medical University, after which he is sent to Moscow. 1929 Enters into a civil marriage. 1942 Goes to work at the Institute as a janitor. 1956 Arrested for theft. Notes Has two daughters from a civil marriage.
