Librarian (1942-1947); Head of the library (1951-1953) Institute years: 1942-1953 1926 Born on 27 January in Kursk into a family of workers. Had an older sister. 1941 Together with her mother moved to Moscow where they lived at their relatives’. 1942 Started to work at the Institute as a library assistant to her uncle Mikhail Naumovich Volfson. After he volunteered to the army, temporarily assumed a position of the head of the library. 1943 Her father, Mihkail Yurievich Uspin, was killed in the battle of Kursk. 1947 Entered the Moscow Institute of History and Archives, Department of Library Science. 1951 Finished studies and returned to the Institute as a head of the library. No data after 1953.
